These Shield Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") govern your subscription to and use of the ClawOps Shield scanner service ("Shield"). These Subscription Terms supplement and are incorporated into the ClawOps Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Subscription Terms and the general Terms of Service, these Subscription Terms control with respect to the Shield service.
Shield is offered at the following subscription tiers:

For the Starter plan, scan allowances reset on the monthly anniversary of your subscription start date. Unused scans do not roll over to the next billing period.
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us at contact@theclawops.com. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Your Shield subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly) at the then-current subscription rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize ClawOps to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period. The renewal charge will be the same as your current plan rate unless we notify you of a price change at least 30 days in advance.
All paid Shield plans are billed monthly. Your billing cycle begins on the date you first subscribe and renews on the same date each month.
Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize recurring charges to your designated payment method.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period. Continued use of Shield after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend your access to paid features until payment is successfully processed. We will notify you by email of any payment failure.
You may cancel your Shield subscription at any time using either of these methods:
When you cancel:
There are no cancellation fees or penalties for canceling your subscription.
If you cancel within seven (7) days of your initial subscription purchase or a renewal charge, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of that billing period.
After seven (7) days from any charge, no refunds will be issued for that billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the current billing cycle.
To request a refund, email contact@theclawops.com with your account email and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed within five (5) business days to your original payment method.
ClawOps Shield uses pattern-based detection to identify potential security threats in text-based files. You should understand the following limitations before relying on scan results:
Shield uses rule-based pattern matching and heuristic analysis to detect potential prompt injection, data exfiltration, social engineering, and other threat patterns. It does not use comprehensive static analysis, dynamic analysis, or formal verification methods.
All scan results are provided for informational purposes only. Shield is designed to assist you in identifying potential risks, not to provide a definitive security assessment.
Scan results may include:
A clean scan does not guarantee that a file is free from malicious content or security vulnerabilities.
Shield is not a substitute for professional security audits, penetration testing, or comprehensive security assessments. For critical or high-risk environments, you should engage qualified security professionals.
Scans run entirely in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to or stored on ClawOps servers. While this protects your data privacy, it also means scan capabilities are limited to client-side pattern matching.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAWOPS' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF SHIELD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID TO CLAWOPS FOR SHIELD IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CLAWOPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE SHIELD, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
SHIELD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." CLAWOPS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF SHIELD OR ITS SCAN RESULTS.
Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code Sections 17600-17606 (SB-313), ClawOps provides the following disclosures:
Your use of Shield is subject to the ClawOps Acceptable Use Policy. In addition to the general AUP, you agree to the following Shield-specific rules:
ClawOps may update these Subscription Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of Shield after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Subscription Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription.
